Just a quick question, does anyone know what the voltage is supplyed to the hard disk LED? I'm thinking of replacing it with a more attractive 5mm blue and want to get the right spec LED :D

splitt3r You are now the victim of a drive by title change

after some googling it seems they usually put out between 2.2-3v so that should be plenty for a small LED, if youw anna be sure you could use a voltmeter.

Nope thats fine, I'll just get a 5v LED and that should do the job perfectly!

    Cheers for the reply :D
