    I'm posting for a friend:
    They're running Vista Home Premium.

While playing the Cell Game, the screen will black out only for a second, the game resumes, and displays this error....

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
Just to note, both of us have limited computer knowledge.

The first step is to get all Vista updates and latest video drivers.

    We need hardware info, too.

The computer was purchased about a week ago. Windows Update says that there are no new updates to be downloaded.

I forgot to say, latest drivers are not always the best, you can try rolling back to earlier driver.

Thanks for your reply, looks like we posted at the same time, lol.

I checked out the link you provided, which of the downloads do you suggest to be used?

Depending on graphics card - cannot find the a6200n on hp support.

CLICK 1- MICROSOFT 's underlined link
AND THE WINDOWS VISTA 32 BIT, TAB
    UNLESS ITS SLI GRAPHICS

Thank you very much for your information.

Just to play it safe, because neither one of us are too comfortable at this stuff, they'll likely take the computer into where they purchased it, as hopefully the error is covered under warranty. At least now we have a little more knowledge about what is going on. In case if it isn't covered under warranty, we can come back here and try the links.

    Thank you!
