    How can you up the max number of connections to a XP Pro PC. I have heard that it is a registery setting, but where and which key(s) do you need to change.
    If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

    This is to increase the the number of max downloads to 10.

    1. Start Registry Editor

    2. Locate the following key in the registry:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

    3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value , and then add the following registry values:

    "MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=Dword:0000000a
    "MaxConnectionsPerServer"=Dword:0000000a

    4. Quit Registry Editor.

    if he's talking connections then I'm with Adryn. It's hard-coded and it can't be changed.
