Acer Aspire 5742Z

I just bought this laptop. it's running Win7 and IE8. When I browse certain link graphics won't display (i.e. - .png files). Any ideas?

 

Have you bought the LT new or second hand, if second hand then you could try any one of these links 1st http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=106650 helps with some basic PC cleaning if that one fails and gives you no joy then try 2nd link http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=208809 follow all the instructions and post all the required logs back into the malware section !

 

It's brand new. I have seen other forums where IE8 has a problem displaying these graphics because it blocks them for security reasons. Question is how do I turn off the blocking function?
