Messangers cant send files

I cant seem to send any files in my messangers. I think it might be a service i stoped but am not sure. Its been along time since i tryed to send one. any info on what might cause this would be helpful. Thanks

 

Its not a service stopped...unless you stopped UPnP or SSDP Dsicovery Service,

Are you behind a router?

If yes, it must be fully Universal Plug and Play compatible, or you have to forward a whole bunch of ports to the PC in question. Port Triggering is best.

Do a search on google for something like Messenger, ports, and router.

You should get some hits.

If behind a firewall, it must allow messenger full control so it may send files, or once again, "open" ports.
