Laptop arrow keys won't work with Flash Player

    My wife has an HP laptop, running Vista Home Premium and IE 8. I am having a heck of a time figuring out why her arrow keys will not work in Adobe Flash Player applications, like Webkinz games, Teagames, etc.. The arrow keys work in all other Windows applications, and also any other web based game that doesn't use Flash Player. I have completely un-installed Flash Player and installed the most current version, and still no joy.

    Any help would be appreciated.
