Can anyone out there help please?

I'm trying to get rid of a few redundant .net passwords from my pc (running Vista home premium). As far as I can see, it's the same as XP, i;e. control panel, user accounts, manage network passwords - but when I select the required a/c and hit 'delete' i get the message 'windows cannot delete the selected logon information'. no explanation as to why it won't delete.

I'm set as the administrator on the pc - so i've got absolutely no idea why i can't perform this simple task.

Anyone out there with an answer for me - pretty please?

well, maybe an answer, maybe not? do you think it's a uac thing? i was not able to do this (link below), until i disabled the uac. you might want to try that. control panel --> user acct --> (somewhere there), you should see something about disabling the uac. anyway, g/l - sos

Thanks for your advice, but it makes no difference turning off User Account Control. I still can't remove excess .net passwords.

All further assistance would be appreciated.
