Wierd motorcycle

Has anyone else seen one of these motorcycles with two front wheels close together? I am not referring to the Piaggio (sp?) scooter or the Spyda, but a full sized motorcycle.

We saw a guy driving toward us today and I thought he had his right leg stretched out (as we riders do when we get stiff from sitting in the saddle for long periods), but as he got closer I could see it was two wheels, very close together!! How wierd! How does that work on cornering? Are they independent of each other? Anyone got any links - I couldn't find anything except the scooter and so called motorcycles with front wheels far apart like a traditional trike in reverse.

But sadly it is not that. It looked just like a Harley coming up the road.....as I said,.....I thought he was just stretching his leg out until he got much closer. There was very little if any faring hiding the machine.

the t rex is so bad ***. id love to take a ride in one of those.

 

It is probably a clone of that bike Dodge built with the viper engine on it. (only made one and it never really moved) http://www.allpar.com/cars/concepts/tomahawk.html It has four wheels they pivot independently of each other. It was build as a more of a "Look at what we can do." thing.

lonewolf_az , I saw something that looked like the 2nd pic you posted just this morning.
I was sitting at a light and it came the opposite way. Just caught it out of the corner of my eye.

The 500 looks more "vicious" with the front facia.

Saw a pre-release bike at the local Kawasaki dealership last year while searching for riding gear, similar to the original posters description, but can't find a pic of it for the life of me. Sleek, stainless looking beast! Still searching.....
