I have had no recognizable problems but...

I installed Avira Free and Online Armor software firewall on approx. Oct 2011 and SuperAntispyware Pro (SAP) on May 2013. SAP ran and updated automatically everyday. Avira had its irritating pop ups for its paid version which I always entered NO. And I assumed Avira updated and ran automatically. Sometime in the last year or two, I installeded AdvancedSystemCare and ran it regularly including Iobit Malware Fighter (if that's the right name for it). Sometime during early 2014, trying to solve a malware problem, I enabled QDF software KeyScrambler Free (after research) which I didn't know was installed.

In May 2014, SAP expired but continued to run daily, but didn't update its malware files (I found out later). Sometime in July 2014, I realized that Avira didn't show its irritating pop ups, and I realized I was going to have to find out more about/update the malware software on my laptop. These pop ups could have stopped much earlier.

I decided I wanted Avast Free, Malwarebytes AntiMalware Pro (MBAM Pro), SpywareBlaster, CCleaner, Private Firewall, Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit, Keyscrambler, and AdvancedSystemCare without Iobit Malware Fighter.

I have all installed ALL (that weren't already installed) except MBAM Pro, because while attempting to uninstall (before installing the new ), I found out that Avira had Uninstalled itself already. I installed the Free MBAM. After running Avast Free and MBAM Free daily and on some days a Custom Scan for Root kits (MBAM) and a boot scan for Avast these are the results. There were Zero results except for the custom scans. I've only done 1 boot scan.

The following are the results found: Avast Virus Chest

    Trojan.Agent.ED 7/26/2014

The QUESTION Is: is my laptop secure enough to do $ transactions like buying MBAM Pro? (No, I have not done the Read and Run Me 1st when there are no recognizable problems, but just laptop owner paranoia...) Any help is MUCH appreciated...

From what infections you say were found I would suggest that you do indeed follow the instructions and complete the Read and Run me First. ;)

Thank you...is it possible to purchase MBAM Pro on a public site (library) on to a flash drive and then install it on my laptop? I realize I need to do the Read and Run me 1st. Thank you for your help.

It would be better to just go with the free of MBAM version for now.
