Rikky was a very interesting character as he usually had a totally different take on things and he was so good at tinkering and making things

It stays on until you click on it. When you click anywhere in that post, it disappears.
Typing in your new post, will keep it visible - unlike the missing members...

Correction:
The above refers to the Reply 'button', not the Edit 'button'.

 

I see the edit button for a bit, but it's in a goofy spot and took me a bit to find. After you post, at the bottom it says posted by whoever however many minutes ago. Next to that is the edit button, which isn't really a button. It also gives you the option to report your own post, which makes me giggle.
