Help Appreciated

Hi All,

Everything is fine with my PC except for 1 problem.
When I connect to the Internet my connection only lasts a few seconds, I can access websites but after a few seconds I get the typical 'The page cannot be displayed' error. My PC then tries to connect to the Internet again but on most occasions it fails. I seem to be loosing the connection after a few seconds of surfing.

Do I have a virus on my PC? If so what is is called? How do I fix it?

Any help appreciated, I am a novice with regard to PC's and this problem is really starting to bug me.

First off Hi


Remember to stay calm and most if not all things can be worked out..... as to what you problem is I dunno and I'm being honest but having said that there are steps to find out whats up... its a case of narrowing stuff down.

A few questions for you to aid us in helping you....


1. What OS are you using?

2. Do you have all OS Critical Security Updates?

3. have you done a Anti Virus and Spyware scan of your system?

.....if not then I would advise doing so and make sure whatever Virus program you are using is upto date otherwise its as usefull as a chocolate teapot of you havnt got a Anti Virus program then I have two suggestions A. 4. Delete your Temporary Internet Folder and Cookies
