Can't print Excel

Hello,

I have an HP 1312 MFP Laser printer. It work fine when connected to my XP computer.

But when I connect to mt Windows 7 computer I can;t print Excel or PDF's. I also cannot set it is the default printer. I have downloaded the full solution from HP.

Does anyone have an idea why?

When you go to Devices and Printers, can you see the printer?

If yes, open Properties, and print a test page - does it print?

You write that you cannot set it as Default Printer; what happens when you try?

 

Did you also install it?

 

Yes I installed the package.

I can see the printer in devices and printers.
I can print a test page, and word, notepad, email etc
If I try and set it as default I get " unable to set to default"

If I go to excel to print, I can see the printer. If I select the printer it reverts to fax.
