I went to the read & run me first page, and installed everything necessary....but when I try to boot in safe mode, and I get to the
part to put in my password, my keyboard does not work???? Is there
something I can do? When I first boot in safe mode, it does say on the
screen "keyboard disabled" It does not do this when I boot in normal
mode. THanks for any help!

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

Sounds like something to do with your hardware does not work in safe mode. What kind of keyboard is it? Is it wired or wireless? Is it standard PS/2 or USB?

For now, run all the steps in the READ ME in normal boot mode.

Thanks for your reply. It is a standard ps/2 keyboard. I did run everything in normal mode, and all of the programs did find and remove alot of things. But those square boxes are still in the start up items, and when I uncheck them and apply, the just reappear upon restart???? And it still won't let me type in the password to start in safe mode! I'm afraid I won't be able to get rid of EVERYTHING without being able to do it thru safe mode. Is there anyway to bypass the password in safe mode? Thank you!!!!

You need to complete all the steps in the READ ME and attach the logs requested in steps 6 & step 7.

Even if we did by pass the password screen, you would still have issues if your keyboard does not work.

    Hijack Log.....help!

I had posted earlier that I was unable to boot in safe mode due to keyboard failure when booting in safe mode. I was able to go into safe mode by choosing "administrator" because it did not require a password. Once in safe mode, I ran all the tools noted in the "read and run first" page. Even after all of that, when I look in the start-up items, there are still 2 items that look like a line of squares, and even if I uncheck them, they return upon restart. So here is the hijack log. Thanks in advance for any help! :)

    Re: Hijack Log.....help!

Before posting a HijackThis log you need to complete all the other steps in the READ ME as requested. This includes step 6. There are two online scans to be run and their logs must be attached.

Also you did not follow the directions in step 7 of the READ ME and as a result you have HijackThis installed exactly where it is requested that you not install it.

Also answer a question: Did you knowingly install the below?
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [StopSignSsTsMon] Rundll32.exe "C:\Program Files\Acceleration Software\Anti-Virus\sstsmon.dll",VerifyStatus
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [webscan] "C:\Program Files\Acceleration Software\Anti-Virus\stopsignav.exe" -k

You already have one antivirus and the eAcceleration software is not recommended. It should be uninstalled ASAP!
