Firstly if this post is in the wrong spot I apologize, but it covers hardware, drivers/software and my mobile phone.

What I want to do is to be able to stream audio from my phone to my PC. I was able to do this in Win 7 through the preinstalled drivers for "Intel Centrino Wireless Bluetooth 3.0 + High Speed Adapter". All I had to do was pair the PC and the phone and tick "media audio"

I purchased a CSR 8510A10 based dongle for my Win 10 desktop PC and was hoping to do the same. However the option "media audio" does not show up anymore on the phone when I pair the phone to my desktop.

So my question is, do I need specific drivers to fix this problem? I have also read about things called bluetooth stacks but I don't much about them. Is something like BlueSoleil what they are referring to? Do I need it?

The current drivers installed on my Win 10 PC are "Generic Bluetooth Radio", "Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator" and "Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator"

I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but I've spent the best part of today dealing with this problem and I can't solve it myself.

Oh, I've also tried setting the driver to "Generic Bluetooth Adapter" but no luck :/
