Gotta make it short typing takes forever. Every key I hit brings up a keyboard shortcut. EX. n brings up a new window, s brings up the save box, p brings up the print box. My scroll wheel only makes the font bigger or smaller on a web page. and for some reason when I try to type in a webpage name the www I type closes the browser completely in firefox, and IE. I've done spyware scans with adaware spybot Ccleaner norton antivirus, and a few others on your try this first page, Nothing at all comes up. I don't know how this could have happened. I keep getting a beep like you get when you press too many keys at once when I try to use a drop down menu, and sometimes/most of the time when I click on one it doesn't stay open. PLUS I can't use any keyboard shortcuts because they're all screwed up. I can't paste or copy or anything. This may not even be spyware, but whatever it is, it sucks. I know you can help, you guys are awesome

Do you have another keyboard and mouse to try, in case one of them is faulting?

another thing to try is to in device manager, delete your keyboard and mouse > reboot and they will be found as new hardware again by the OS, or if your keyboard and mouse have their own special driver, then re-install ( some Microsoft and Logitech have their own special drivers which add other options to control the devices over the standard ones windows installs )

but also as you have read the guide.. go back over it and follow it verbatim, just to rule out Malware.

addendum and big thanks to Toni_1947 for this suggestion.

Check that your CTRL ( control ) key on your keyboard is not stuck down as that can cause the issues your are seeing.

been trying to reply for an hour now. Sometimes the thing acts up real bad, and sometimes not at all. Got it at a good time now so I'm taking advantage. Nothing you suggested helped out at all, sorry. I'm not questioning your intelligence, I would have suggested the same stuff. I tried a sys restore. no help, I also uninstalled and reinstalled firefox IE and my key and mouse drivers. No help there. I shut down the machine, and unplugged the 2 wireless recievers and plugged them back in, also separated them more than they even were before as well as changed the batteries. I have problems with my mouse now more than the keyboard it seems, but it could just be a few mins away from being completely crazy. My mouse wheel just makes text huge instead of scrolling, occasionally I'll get it to scroll for a few lines, but then it goes back to making my life miserable. I have a HJT log if you want me to post it.

You have normal spare USB/PS2 keyboard mouse over the wireless ones to test?

Also do the wireless KB and Mouse have a reset procedure? ( I vaguely remember a logitech KB I worked on having this ) again sorry if you have run through these steps but as you will appriecate its not an easy task to troubleshoot without being in front of the PC in question.

Before you post your HJT log, you have run through all the steps in the below as I know Chas or Shadow will insist on the steps being followed, I just have to check as it will save time.

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
    • Bitdefender
    • Panda Scan
    • HijackThis

Attatched are the logs you requested, not a single scan found anything except for adaware which found 3 negligable items, and panda which found 6 and cleaned 1. This may not be spyware. Possibly just a goofed up windows setting that needs fixed. A friend of mine worked on my comp and it's done it ever since. BUT a sys restore did not fix the problem, I restored my comp to weeks, even months before he was here. All to no avail. If you know of any setting that would do such a thing, I believe that will solve the problem.
    Thanks for the help

Sounds to me like you need to reprogram your Netropa Multimedia Keyboard! I assume it is a programmable keyboard based on all the stuff loading for it.

The below have nothing to do with your problem, but need to be mentioned.

    - Viewpoint Manager should have been uninstall in step 0 of the READ ME.

    - Most versions of LimeWire come bundled with malware.

    Questions:

    1) What is the below for?

    O23 - Service: WIBU-KEY Server (WKSVW32) - WIBU-SYSTEMS AG - C:\PROGRAM FILES\WIBUKEY\SERVER\WKSVW32.EXE

I assume it is for this: http://support.wibu.de/en/index.html and that you installed it?

    2) What is this item that Panda found: C:\Program Files\CoolSpeech\Realtime.dll

Viewpoint is used for my updater for my printer, the wibu key is for a program you may not be framiliar with called Sonar producer 5, It is the dongle check. I purchased limewire and it comes with no spyware as far as they told me, I wouldn't have purchased it otherwise, and cool speech is a text talking program where I can speak, and it types for me, I use that for my father, who has no use of his arm due to stroke.
I have no idea how to reprogram the netropa multimedia keyboard, I never programed it when I bought the thing, and it has worked fine until now, and it's 2 years later. Should I just buy a new keyboard? I do not have access to another one, I have a second mouse, but I have the same problem with that as well.
I sincerely thank you for all your help and questioning.
you guys really know your stuff.

Viewpoint Manager is garbage mild malware installed by AOL and or AIM. It has nothing to do with printer hardware.

This sounds like hardware problems that would be better addressed in the Hardware Forum. If both your mouse and keyboard are behaving strange then perhaps you have a driver issue. I still wonder about the keyboard being programmable though. You should check.

Maybe you need a driver for it too. See: http://www.netropa.com/download/mmkbd/download.html
