wcs hijacker

here I am a no nothing who caught the wcs hijacker 2 days ago - can anyone help - to date ad-aware finds it kills it then when search is repeated it is back again killed back killed back killed back - have hijack this but not sure what to delete or if this actually will work .

If you already have any of the programs linked in the tutorial please double check your version to make sure you have the latest one and that you have any/all updates for the programs.

NOTE: In order to resolve the issues you are having it is very important that you at least try to perform all the steps as outlined. If you have any difficulty please post back letting us know what steps you have completed, what you found while doing the scans if anything and details about any problems you have encountered in completing the steps. I followed instructions as recomended - don't ask me what happned as it is all a blur, step 2 stumped me for a while when "Workstation Netlogon Service" showed up but I could not open stop button. Forged ahead got through step 3 and then downloade all the tools in 4 to c drive hell but found most of them, Ran them and there were thousands of whatever the hell and I deleted them even when there were warning signs saying proceed at "our own risk" sort of makes you feel the same as when you pass that "Wrong Way Do Not Enter" going on to the freeway. I killed and killed and then went on to option steps and killed some more. I shut it down and restarted only to have my home page come up with about:blank. I opened ad-adware se and ran it again and guess what 64 problems again bit the dust most of them CWS shut it down again and just like George W. found out that you need to surround yourself with good men. IT IS GONE FOR NOW - Thanks
