    I know that my computer is bogged down with something I just can't find what. I have deleted everything I can and I still have NO free space on my hard drive (not literally none but very very little).

    I did the READ&RUN ME FIRST thread directions...the log files are here:

    View attachment ComboFixLog.txt

    View attachment mbam-log-2008-09-23 (20-12-51).txt

    View attachment SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log - 09-23-2008 - 19-45-40.log

    Please note that the last program did not create a .zip file as it was supposed to. I found the Hijackthis.log so I am including it but I may need to run Hijackthis and or MGTools programs again. Also, since it will only let me upload three log files I will attach the fourth one to a reply to this thread.

    Please let me know what if anything can be done to help me out.

    Thanks! ;)

    You need to disable Teatimer:
    * Run Spybot and click Mode
    * Select Advanced Mode.
    * Then click Tools and select Resident.
    * Now in the right window pane, uncheck TeaTimer.
    * Also while this is open, in the left column now select IE Tweaks
    * and then in the right pane make sure all the Miscellaneous locks are unchecked.
    * Now quit Spybot!

    You will find the MGLogs just where it says it should be:
    C:\MGLogs.zip

    Please attach that. :)

    I'm sorry about the teatimer...I thought I had disabled it when the tutorial told me I should...I don't know why it didn't take.

    Here are the logs...I did find them where you said.

    Thanks for your help :eek:

    You should probably remove those desktop components ( right click the desktop / properties / desktop / customize / web...remove anything other that my current home page and make sure no box is checked.)

    Your problem is more than likely due to not having enough ram to run your system adequately.

    I would suggest that you post in the software section to follow this up.

    NOw we need to do some cleaning from the scans:

    Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
    Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
    to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

    If you get a success message, then it is time to do our final steps:

    You are welcome....go invest in some ram. :)

    Crucial will check your system and advise you on what you can do ...and they have decent prices.
