I chose "Download updates but let me choose whether to install them", but I keep getting a security alert in the taskbar suggesting a setting change. Some time the "install updates automatically" option overrides my choice.

How do I set it without the program changing back to the "recommended" setting and how do I get rid of the windows security alert on the taskbar?

Forgot to mention I'm using Vista Ultimate 64 O/S.
