I'm essentially looking for spy software with a specific funcion. I need to be able to determine if anyone has accessed, updated, deleted etc any files on my desktop computer through my small company's internal network. Almost all the software I have come across only logs activity that directly takes place while the user is sitting at the computer in question (keyloggers, screen captures...) OR it does the reverse and remotely monitors what everyone else is doing on THEIR computers, not what has been done to yours.

I do not wish to block any activity, simply record it when I'm away. I also do not wish to access anyone else's computer, just log any connections and activity on mine. *I* don't need to monitor this remotely, I need to see if anyone else is accessing my computer by navigating through the company's "Network Neighborhood". Obviously a program that takes screen shots (or logs key strokes etc) wouldn't work because there are no screen shots to take. And everything I've seen that has to do with networking is geared toward capturing html and ftp sites a user has accessed directly from a computer. Not quite what I'm looking for.

    Any suggestions?
