    Windows XP

    Explorer.exe will not load.
I do not know how to start explorer.exe manually.
I would have to load Tast Manager in order to run any program, but i cannot open any folders.

I have tried running in Safe Mode. But explorer would not start automatically.

I dont know how to find System Recovery through task manager.
So i havent tried that yet.

This Problem started after I installed a new antivirus on the computer , ran a scan and deleted 6 threats to the computer.
Ever since. the computer would not load my Desktop.

with the task manager open, click file then run...
    try this
    C:\Windows\System32\restore\rstrui.exe
    or this
    C:\Windows\System32\rstrui.exe

First of all, thanks. So the first link worked. I'm Currently in Safe Mode.
I attempted to restore it before the previous date, and after I clicked next after the Date Selection, and the next thing was to click next to restart computer.

So I clicked next... The curser would turn into an hour glass, then disapear.
    Sad to say, nothing happened.

    Any other idea's ?
