    Short story:
I've attached a ZIP file containing a WAV with the sound from my microphone when I try to record sounds with Windows Sound Recorder or any other programs, also when I simply un-mute the microphone, it makes the same sound but without the +20db amplification.

    Long Story:
I have a Sound Max integrated audio card that started making that weird noise with my headset. Nothing seemed to fix it so I got myself a Headset with Sound card integrated (microsoft lifechat-3000) through USB. Guess what, a little different buzzing sound, but basically the same.
Since I got angry on my old headsets, thinking they were broke, I threw them away and I don't have a Mic to record from my integrated sound card, so the attachments contains a recording only from my USB headset.
BTW, the USB headset works because I didn't buy it, I got it from someone, and obviously it worked at his PC.

Your help would be appreciated a lot guys.

PS: excuse my bad English, I'm not native...

#edit1: please ask if other information are required, I know my way around computers quite well.
