I've been having problems with my internet for a while, particularly with my desktop in my room, so I picked up a new Network Adapter (TP Link TL-WN881ND) But that seemed to have no dramatic effect, I was still cutting out constantly and sometimes internet would run fine for hours, other times would be out for days on my desktop only.

We were experiencing slowness with other devices in my place so I picked up a new router as well (ASUS RT-N56U), which works great with all of our other devices, but my desktop seems to be having even more issues now, and I've been crawling the internet for days looking for a solution to My "cannot communicate with primary DNS server" error when trying to diagnose issues. The internet often works for the first minute or two, and occasionally resetting the network adapter will restore access for a few minutes.

It's worth noting that my walls may be causing a weaker signal for my router, and I'm considering swapping out my router to one with an even more powerful signal (which the Fry's representative stated would likely be overkill, but maybe that's what I need)

I've tried myriad solutions ranging from
    -Flush DNS
-reset logs for winsock, ipv6, ipv4
    -disabling ipv6
    -Pinging 127.0.0.1 successfully
-using manual DNS servers in network adapter settings and router settings (as well as automatic), all it did was tell me a different primary DNS server it cannot communicate with
-installing drivers (actually had some problems with the TP link ones, seemed to give me a different utility)
-Even have reformatted, and no improvements
-Modifying services and uninstalling programs to see if any are interfering (i.e. antivirus, other old wireless utilities), I'm now suspecting it's a hardware (or configuration of hardware) issue, since I'm getting the same problems after a reformat.

And probably a few other things I'm forgetting right now.

Here's my ipconfig, since reformatting I've been unable to update to Service Pack 2, but it was a (seemingly)
identical issue when I was on SP2 as well.
