DUMo - Drivers Update Monitor

    Dear all,

    I've just released the very first version of DUMo - Drivers Update Monitor

    DUMo notifies users when updates are available for their hardware drivers.

    Just like SUMo does for Software updates, DUMo uses a crowd-based algorithm in order to automatically maintain its server database up to date.

    DUMo does not automatically install drivers because we consider that the end user has to be kept in the loop when it comes to system drivers modification. DUMo notifies update availability and provides links to find these drivers easily.

    Like SUMo, DUMo does not directly download drivers, but only notify when update get released

    SUMo tells me where I can download the software updates. It's a superb program I'll recommend to everyone! You've seen my posts. :D
    My question is where do I go when DUMo list's a driver as outdated? Does it help me like SUMo?

    Yes it does, but since MG does not provides drivers ( :) ) , it leads you to the hardware manufacturer's site.

    Kyle, DUMo is great!
    It's fast and showed 3 outdated drivers that DriverEasy Professional didn't show. And that's is a payed for program! :eek:

    But it didn't show the outdated Samsung Mobile MTP Device drivers.

    Kyle, I have a listing that should be looked into, I think. Its been in several versions, but I just haven't got to it. until now.

    Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, curent: 7.101.714.2016; available: 106.12.1119.2014

    The available is about 2 years older than my current. It seems to be a 32 bit from the XP and Vista era. My current works fine on this machine and has done so for a couple of months.

    Kyle, after this past weekend, I managed to get all my drivers to the point of not only relatively the latest, but also stability. DUMo certainly did the trick in giving me the alerts and telling me what was out there. A little over two years ago, when XP was toward its end, I swapped it for W7
    and started to upgrade drivers. Most of the hardware is archaic. So, I knew not everything I tried was going to work. Some didnt. This past year,
    I discovered DUMo. It made made things go much quicker and smoother. I think I am done with the need to update drivers for now. Since this W7 is doomed to carry me out to 2020, with no hardware changes in sight, I think we got it under control. Tvm,Bud!:)
