Uncle! I cant find much on it though it appears it may be part of the .net framework. I would leave it be for now, if it IS corrupt and not coming up as a virus, you SHOULD be ok.

Any one else know more or care to correct me on this, please do!

If you have 'Scan archive files' checked, Avast will scan .zip and other archive files.
Apparently if it can't open some archives it thinks they're corrupt. Happens on my system too with some .jar files, dunno why. If I then right click on those files in explorer and run a scan, Avast will open them and perform a normal scan. A bug perhaps?

Concurr with alan. I've noticed it too. Doesn't seem to be a critical flaw. I think it's just Avast holding something out and saying "Hey. Does this smell funny to you too?" ;)
