Software to update iPod to PC, instead of PC to iPod?

    Hey all,

    I just had to reinstall my XP OS and I lost my iTunes database. I have all the songs on my iPod, but I think iTunes updates from the PC to the iPod....thus if I plug in my iPod and update it, I will lose all my songs since my PC has nothing on it.

    Is there software that will allow me to plug in my iPod and transfer the songs from it to my PC?
