Interior PC cleaning

Couldn't find a forum for this, so I apologize in advance.

I just bought a wet/dry vac that has a blower hose.



If I attach the crevice tool, can I use it to clean dust from inside?

Be careful to avoid static electricity. I clean mine with compressed air instead of a vac.

 

I'm just getting tired of buying those cans and thought this might be just as efficient. Just don't want to do any damage.

 

Static issues still come to mind, but I feel you on buying the cans. Perhaps someone with more knowledge will chime in.

 

I have done it on numerous occasions with a wet/dry as a vacuum and a blower. Usually dust, cat hair on occasion. Make sure the air is clean and dry, preferably with a vac for that use only. A small model will do, so don't use to much pressure. It is the poor mans way, and not the preferred method, but as some retailers charge upwards of 5 dollars a can I feel your pain.:cry There are hand held models manufactured for just such a purpose.

 

This is the one I bought, just for light jobs.

What do you mean by "pressure"?

There's no way to control it.

 

I just use a small, soft brush and job's done. It doesn't matter how hard you blow, dust ans crud still gets left behind :-D, so brush for me, unless it's inaccessible, obviously.

 

I came across this about ten days ago and had to watch it, 'cause I thought it was kind of bizarre.

Thankfully, my PC isn't quite that dirty.:-D
