Can't get to site--tried everything

Starting yesterday, I am no longer able to get to my business site, digitalmusicdoctor.com using Comcast. I can get to the site just fine using Earthlink dialup. I can get to anywhere else on the Internet that I try using Comcast.

I have tried Comcast support 4 times and they can only tell me they are not blocking the site. I also eliminated my router as a factor by going directly from my computer to the cable modem.

I have also tried clearing my temporary internet files and cookies, turning off my Windows firewall, turning off all my antivirus software, sypware blockers, and popup blockers. I have also rebooted with everthing cleared out of startup and I have checked my hosts file.

I also did all of this on a second computer with the same result.

Below is a tracert of what always happens.

I have run out of ideas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My guess would be the servers have changed. The ip address nit4ed in your post is NOT digitalmusicdoctor.com as you can see. The IP address does not resolve to your hostname. Pings come back with unknown host.

Thanks for the response. Not quite sure why you're getting those results. Since I obviously can't get to digitalmusicdoctor.com on Comcast from my location, I tried ping and tracert from dnsstuff.com. Both results confirm the same IP address is still valid.

I am no authority but recently had an issue similar to yours. Was resolved by using Hostsmanager, downloaded through MG's, cleared my hosts file and could nav to the site I wanted then.
Had used spybot s&d's "innoculate" button and it had filled my hosts file with so much that I couldn't access some websites - but I'd imagine there could be other causes for the same illness.
For what it's worth, that's how my fix went in for something that sounds very similar to your issue. Sometimes the simple fixes are the ones that work - I was an auto and aircraft mechanic for 30 years.
Am in hopes that this is of help - but like I said, I am no authority.
    Blessings,
    Port-O-San
