I discovered the great thread on malware removal and started going by each step. I got to the point where I use Root Repeal. It started fine and everything but is running incredibly slow. I'm talking about hours, as in about 10 hours so far. Its at the part where it is looking for hidden files. It isn't frozen because its slowly making its way through my hard drive. Is it supposed to take this slow?! Thanks.

If I was a betting man I'd say I get a response before it finishes! LOL.

Yes abort RootRepeal, it doesn't always run well. So skip it and move onto the next step. Attach what logs you do have once you're done.
