I went to work and then after work I went shopping and the most horrible (best) thing happened. I went on a shoe buying rampage :eek

I got 3 pair of boots. 1 pair of cream colored knee high boots with wedge heels, 1 pair of black flat knee high boots with a cute buckle going across the front and 1 pair of grayish calf high sorta wedge heel boots, also with buckles! there were more pairs that I wanted but I knew I had to stop the madness LOL I also got a cute belt.

So what did you do today?

I worked. There were stupid people there. :puke

After work I went to the gym and worked on my Strength and Stamina stats for about an hour. I'll be sure to invest a few points in Dexterity by stretching thoroughly before bed, and if this keeps up I'll be ready to level up in about a day or so. :strong

    Fitness, the gamer way. LOL

I worked today and had a few giggles with my co-workers. We think alike. They think I'm nuts and I think the same on them. Diffrent degrees on crazy. Mostly great ppl I work with.

Have you ever tryed Wii Fit? I bought one and I like it. Not as easy as you would think. I went thru cardiac rehab a few years ago. As long as you get your heart rate up on what ever you do. You will do fine. Just takes time. Learned lifestyle takes a toll. I'd eat a 4 meat pizza and wash it down with a few beers. Caught up with me. Heart attacks suk, 1 stent later, good to go-> lol

We had a couple of winners in the shop yesterday. I work for an Australia-wide company, every month or so we put out a catalogue of items on special. Usually it features a young lady playing with the tools - I know that sounds wrong, but I can't think of any other way to put it. Anyhow, two really bright boys come in, sent to us by another branch here in the city. They get their noses into the catalogue and after a few minutes one says to his mate 'Huh. I think they use the same girl at every branch.'

Back on topic. I blogged, did the laundry, shaved, shopped, got some acupuncture, had a nice lunch and watched a movie called Unknown. Not the recent Unknown with Liam Neeson, a different film starring Jim 'same initials' Caviezel and Greg Kinnear. Pretty good. Better than the poor rating it got at Rotten Tomatoes. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/unknown/

Got up at 7.30 and waited for the electrician to come and wire the boiler in,Hmmm I can relax now its his job!NOT I then had to start taking the house apart finding places for him thread cables, regulations have got silly every single little bit of copper pipework has to be earthed, the boiler to the electric box,the gas main to the electric box,the electric fuse box to the boiler by the end of it I expected him to earth me just to be safe.

Then I did a YOU dyamond and did some retail therapy after all the stress of watching the electrician work:-D

Neat Bill on the chair, now thats romance for you ;)

Me well I ommited to mention what I did, well I got out of bed which was no easy task, then finalised an install of WHS2011 and wow nice OS in regards to backup, streaming and remote access.

Moderated a bit on the forum, answered emails, mmm alot of them, fingers where raw at the end, and keyboards shift key is wearing out now.

Watched the qualy of the F1 GP from Australia, going to be an interesting season with new rules and tech on the cars, KERS back, 107% qualifying target, different tyre maker in Pirelli, adjustable wings.. especially the rear, and I still hate no re-fueling as that was a part of motor racing and where things could go wrong and add excitement to the race.

Installed Expressing Design and Adobe Illustrator as I need to design a logo for a project and Photshop is not cutting it so need a vector app.

Finished off some SOPs for work and more it was a find and replace of text and now a re-read over next month to tweak them for use.

Today was a light day, and now off for TV evening and :wine so likely I will not ban or change user titles of anyone tonight :p or will I rolleyes

I have my PC wired through my SONY hi-fi which has two box speakers each with a tweeter, mid range and an 2 eight inch subs.

I mainly use that setup to listen to music but its may upgrade in near future but I'm happy with it ATM,in fact I'm more than happy with it I LOVE my stereo SONY hi-fi and its speakers, nothing special cost about £200 six years ago but they sound amazing for listening to music and have a built in crossover so I don't have to worry about the wrong frequency going to the wrong speaker.

My main problem was my headphones for gaming and at night time,I broke my Medusa headphones again

    http://www.google.co.uk/images?hl=e...=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1116&bih=470

After fixing them about 6 times, they are so brittle is unreal so I'm not getting those again if they still make them but I LOVED the positional sound quality on them so I got the closest thing as I said

    http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/roccat-kave-5-1ch-surround-sound-gaming-headset-black-06559701-pdt.html

They work well, but my old soundcard an audigy hasn't had any decent driver updates for windows 7,CREATIVE SUCK for drivers so I said I'm never getting a creative card again until they sort it out.Even then I thought about X-FI then checked the creative support page for software and driver support and they haven't wrote a new X-FI driver or update for 2 years:eek ASUS have updated their driver twice just this year so the choice was obvious to me.

So I guess a decent 5.1 setup is next on my list, kinda of amazing I've just spent £180 on audio equipment and I didn't even get and amp or some speakers :confused

Sorry Dyamond had to get that out of my system :-D

  16. Rikky

Rikky Wile E. Coyote - One of a kind

I've told a lie,July last year was the last updated driver for the X-fi titanium,if I spend nearly £100 on a soundcard there's no reason for it not to work in 5 years, they should keep on top of it better IMO,the X-fi series is quite renowned for driver problems.

AND there is a win764 driver for my Audigy from 2008 which allows it to work, just. There's no control program for it though other than the basic windows ones, the old control panel no longer works in win7 so its basically useless to me now.

I'm sure in the bowels of the MG server rooms forum rulebook (its hung on a bit of string behind the door), or its more a scrappy bit of coffee stained scrap paper if truth be told, that lieing is a bannable thing, especially where tech is concerned, but I did not see anything, move along now....

Hey sounds, pardon the pun a really nice stetup you have Rikky, I had to bin my old Kenwood Dolby 3 Stereo system as it just died, not replaced it as yet so have no main stereo system to pipe music through other than TV speakers or the PCs Cambridge Soundworks ones.

    Neat :)

I took in the sights and sounds of my ride home from work today.

First, the boy who had his fuzzy uggs pulled up over the legs of his way-too-skinny skinny jeans. I had to look twice to make sure he wasn't a girl. wth?!

Second, the family that must of thought they were at home. the dad & kid (with her shoes off) both laying back, lounging across a set of 3 seats while mom & and all their belongings taking up the rest of the open space. double wth?!?

Last but certainly not least, the woman with a quart sized plastic container, almost full of vomit, continually vomiting in it. triple wth??!!?

Oh how I love public trans. :puke
