Is this question linked to a games of some sort?

Sorry but your going to have to clarify what "Read Speed" your taking about, what is it in relation to... hard drive read speed or actual physical reading speed ( as in speed reading a book )?

I guess that explains why you didn't read the forum title. :)

Easiest way is to just Google it, free speed reading programs.

Moved from Games to Lounge, maybe one of the lizards may know of something, but googleing is a good option TBH,

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=learn+to+speed+read+&meta= ( you will have to weed out the free from not so free links )

or best way read alot of books and you should pick it up over time, also visit your local library and they should be able to advise on a book on speed reading to help :)

Go to en.wikipedia.com and search for "speed reading". The article will give you a good overview of what you will be looking at with the freeware.

Then go to Google and put in "freeware speed reading". That combination will give you a lot of programs that are free.

    Use this simple exercise....

Look at the center of a sentence in a one column newspaper article.
Try to say the sentence without moving your eyes left and right.
Go down one sentence and do the same.
It will take time but don't give up. Do this 30 min a day for a week.
Next. try a paperback book. Do not mouth the words.
I went from 250 words a minute to 900 in about 6 weeks.

Remember, don't mouth the words and test your comprehension by writing out what you read after completing a paragraph or a page.
