    Hi all.
I turned my comp on the other day and saw some message or other about a usb device not being recognised.
I tried to print something but it either didn't load or would do everything in slow motion. It would move the print head, a minute later it would grab the paper, a minute later it would print part of the document etc.
I uninstalled, reinstalled, removed drivers, reinstalled drivers.
    Eventually I tried system restore.
    Bingo, the printer worked fine.
Now, when I boot the comp it is doing the same thing, slow.
I get black screen with cursor flashing in top left corner, a minute later the hdd drives and other system info come on the screen, a minute later......................... until eventually the comp boots into windows.
Loading web pages is slower than normal.
I tried booting to a Sea tools disk to check the HDD but that failed.
I did see something that said 'Config sys error in line 1' somewhere.

    Anyone got a clue?
    Cheers.
