Long story but I had some problems installing my new wireless mouse with Windows XP sp2. Finally got it loaded but when I ran my hijack this log it had the following entry.
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MSConfig] C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\MSConfig.exe /auto

What is this? I searched Google and still did not get a good answer. Some said to keep it and some to let hijack this fix it but no one said what it was. Does anyone know?
    Thanks

It means you are booting up using msconfig to control some aspect of what is being loaded at startup.

Click Start, Run, and enter msconfig and click OK.

On the General tab select Normal Startup. Now reboot and check your HJT log to see if that line is gone.
