IE shuts down when I try to download

Hi I was refrenced to try software forum. we have exhausted looking for maleware. When I try and run trend micro virus scan explorer shuts down saying it has ran into problems. This is an example from an event log.
faulting application iexplore.exe version 6.0.2900.2180 faulting module wininet.dll version 6.0.2900.2627 fault address 0x00030302
there were many errors most of them 30302.

I was able to get ravscan to work nothing else. I have adaware loaded ran that didnt help. also was able to run trojan hunter found nothing.

Explorer and ie are the same thing (why else do you think you can type a site url into explorer and get there?)

Anyways, try using an alternative browser, one that's much better in all aspects, like Mozilla Firefox and see if you're still having any problems downloading.

 

same thing happens with fox generates errors and shuts down.

 

I was able to download it though. wonder if the virus in in active x I have no ckue I leave it up to you all, im a rookie!!!!!!
