My Vista is pretty new. OK....maybe....what? a month old?
I have programs on here. Not too many though. Along with not too many files.

I was very surprised when I start up and 19 out of 105 GB was all that was left.
So i ran Tree Pro 4 and the size of my System Volume Information folder had literately 5x itself to 50.2GB.

    Im astonished and appalled. :)O

If anyone has ideas, bring it forth cuz i need it.

Those are your system restore points. You could lower the amount of drive used for it, or nuke the contents of the folder altogether by turning off the System Restore service and rebooting.

Um, should be largely the same as XP...go to system information and choose advanced..there should be a system restore tab, or something of the sort.

Im not terribly proficient with Vista, and generally dont run Windows so...
