Limited or No connectivity

    Hello all,
    Having an issue with wireless network at home. Paid some guy to secure my wireless network a while back.
    Computer picks up signal as excellent. Computer views othe rnetworks in my area,how ever If i view wireless netwrks, I can connect to mine, which is listed as automatic, although signal is excellent, it states limited or no connectivity.
    Any Help appreciated.

    We had the same problem on my son's PC recently and it was the ZA firewall restricting access. I found uninstalling it and reinstalling it solved the problem. Don't know if this is the firewall you are running, but though I would throw it out there as a possibility.

    Thanks for the reply. Don't know what ZA Firewall is though. I do have McAfee. Is there a need for a firewall on your computer if you have a wireless router? Does the wireless router have its own firewall.
    What about windows firewall? could that be causing the problem.
