    Hi everyone...

    I'm in some trouble here... My son tried to download some kind of file, and now my computer is all sorts of messed up. I read the preliminary malaware removal thread, and completed what I could (only MGtools and RootRepeal would run). I can barely get in when not in safemode, and I can not use system restore... I tried to change the registy value in regedit of the disablesr to 0, but it always goes back to 1 as soon as I close it. Any help would be great, and I'm sorry I couldn't complete all the malaware removal steps first. There are also constant tray icon bubbles popping up from new programs (Windows Antivirus Pro, System Security version 2.x.x, and others) and my background of my computer has been changed to a blue screen with small text 1's and 0's, with red writing.

    I have no idea what to do... Please help... Here's my MGtools and RootRepeal reports.

    Yes....you are in serious trouble. So I suggest you immediately backup your personal data and files as we may not be able to get your system clean.

    Let's start with this:
    Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

    Now download to a different computer and transfer via cdThe Avenger by Swandog469, and save it to your Desktop.

    * Extract+ avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop

    Please double-click the RootRepeal.exe previously downloaded.

    * Select File then Scan
    * On the Select Drives form select drive [ insert drive infected here ] by "ticking" the box for drive [insert drive here] and click OK
    * When the scan is complete - highlight each of the following file(s) (one at a time if more then one is listed) by left clicking it. Then use right mouse click and select the Wipe File option only for each file.
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\SKYNETabpayemq.dat
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\SKYNETicsqdxcp.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\SKYNETrtcofvre.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\SKYNETxuoxsawy.dat
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\SKYNETtyuegfoa.sys
    * After Wiping all files, immediately reboot your pc!

    After reboot, download/install/update and run the scanning tools you couldn't run!
    Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    NOTE: HJT may popup an error about the AppInit_DLLs line. Ignore it and click OK to continue.

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Open notepad and copy and paste the following text in the quote box into the window:
    Save this as fix.bat
    Choose to save as all files.
    Doubleclick fix.bat and let the program run.
    A small black dos window will flash, this is normal.

    Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
    Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
    to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

    * Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    * -Do not change any check box options!!
    * Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it into the Input script here: part of the window:

    * Now click the Execute button.
    * Click Yes to the prompt to confirm you want to execute.
    * Click Yes to the Reboot now? question that will appear when Avenger finishes running.
    * Your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    * A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt and it will popup for you to view when you login after reboot.

    Now: GMER's MBR.exe

    • Double click on the MBR.exe file to run it.
    • A log will be produced & saved to the desktop, called MBR.log.
    • Attach this log to your next message.

    Now delete the current mbr.log file and then run the below instructions.
    Click Start > Run and copy & paste the following text in the code box into the Run box and then click OK. You must copy and paste or type in this exactly. The quotes must be exactly as shown and there is a space before the -f
    Code:

         "%userprofile%\desktop\mbr.exe" -f

    Now double click on the mbr.exe file and attach the new mbr.log

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\Avenger.txt
    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    And any other logs you may have been able to produce from the scanning tools ( SAS, MBAM, Combo).
