Microsoft keeps trying to install MS Office 2003

    Just finished with Malware Removal and now have an issue with a Microsoft Installer for Microsoft Office 2003 which keeps popping up anytime I start Internet Explorer 7. I ran Windows Installer Cleanup and still have the installer popping up.

    I take it that no one has a clue on how to fix this problem. Thanks anyway.

    Maybe 'God' should teach patience. ;)

    The MSI popup is usually due to a failed installation of some portion of the Office suite.

    My guess would be to uninstall everything related to MS Office 2003, then reinstall whatever parts of the suite that are needed (if any). If there are problems doing this via Programs and Features, Microsoft offers a solution: http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9730793.
