Hi, can anyone help with this? I have the free trial of pchacker tracker on my computer. The whole time I am on the internet it says that a specific ip address is trying to intrude. When I click on that ip address to get more info about that intruding ip address it says that more information can not be given because it is an internal (local)ip address. The ip address that is named as the intruder differs from my ip address by only three numbers in the last digit of the ip address. How do i read my tracker log? Is someone trying to get in or not? Every few minutes...even while writing this...the tracker keeps alerting me. Thanks for your help.

I am not familar with this program. If you think someone is trying to access your computer via a trojan horse do the below:

    Please follow the steps below:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

Thanks for answering...this is what the pchacker tracker log says. It gives me the date and time, intruder's ip and the port he is using, my ip, and my port . Intruder's ip address never changes and it is an internal ip address...my port 139 is secure and stealthed...not open. I xed out the ip addresses not knowing if the numbers should be put on this forum or if it even matters. My ip address that is listed on the log is actually my internal ip address. This is just part of the log...it goes on and on. Does it look like someone is trying to get in my computer...if so I will try to follow the directions you recommend. Thanks again so much for your help!

Roughly every 12 minutes you have activity, something is attempting to transmit data.

Could be a trojan attempting to contact a server, could be something else.

To be on the safe side, run the scans I suggested; just to make sure you aren't infected.
