    I am having issues with my laptop computer.
    This has been showing signs of slowing down
    Lately this has been freezing up mostly after waking up.
    This causes me to do a hard restart.

    I am working on attaching the required logs

    Alien ware M17XR4
    Intel i7-3740qm cpu
    12 gb ram
    window 7 home premium
    64 bit operating system

    Thank you for any help.

    I am not seeing much in the way of malware.

    You have remnants of AVG.....did you uninstall it to run the logs?
    Let's do this:

    Rerun RogueKiller and fix these items:
    Code:
    ¤¤¤ Registry : 16 ¤¤¤
    [Suspicious.Path] (X64) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\xhunter1 (\??\C:\Windows\xhunter1.sys) -> Found
    [Suspicious.Path] (X64) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ControlSet001\Services\xhunter1 (\??\C:\Windows\xhunter1.sys) -> Found
    [Suspicious.Path] (X64) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ControlSet002\Services\xhunter1 (\??\C:\Windows\xhunter1.sys) -> Found

    ¤¤¤ Tasks : 1 ¤¤¤
    [Suspicious.Path] 4600 -- wscript.exe (C:\Users\bill\AppData\Local\Temp\launchie.vbs //B) -> Found
    Now rerun Hitman and fix these items:
    Code:
    Malware remnants ____________________________________________________________

       HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{6EC77D09-02CB-4E1F-E3C4-FB141B2610B3}\ (Activeris)

    Potential Unwanted Programs _________________________________________________

       ask.com
       C:\Users\bill\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Web Data
    Use windows explorer to find and delete:
    C:\Windows\system32\tasks\0
    C:\Windows\system32\tasks\4600v

    Reboot and rescan with RogueKiller and Hitman and attach the new logs.
    Tell me how things are running.

    here are the requested logs.

    The computer did not freeze up, but that would only be the first try.
    Start up did seem a bit faster.

    Windows could not find the 4600v file to be deleted
    the other file was found and deleted

    Let me know.'

    In the meantime:

    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:

    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. If you are running Win 8, Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below to flush restore points:
      • Refer to the instructions for your WIndows version in this link: Disable And Enable System Restore
      • What we want you to do is to first disable System Restore to flush restore points some of which could be infected.
      • Then we want you to Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.

    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
