I know at this time by looking at that pic that Untied Devices may not be the culprit... BUT by its very design UD is suppost to use all unused CPU cycles so it will appear that your CPU is a 100% for most if the time ( all DC projects run like this AFAIK )

but from that pic it look as if SVCHOST.exe is your culprit.... ( im sure their is a fix for this but its not to hand right now )

However I would run your AV program and either Ad Aware or SpyBot to make sure you have no "Nastys" on your system.

ive allready got things to a minimum at startup (just firewall, anti virus, mbm, united devices and the sound manager for onboard sound)

ill give that services guide a read, thanks for the info :)

i forgot to add at that time i had told United Devices to pause, it operates on a idle process when running so the system idle process will always be 0 in normal usage.

AVG does a virus scan every day, ill go update my ad-aware and see if that brings up owt

adaware came up with just cookies etc

use that page to go through my services and set a fair few from automatic to manual and its seamed to have solved it :)

    Thanks
