No spell check on Word

Can someone please help me with my Microsoft word spell check problem, it is making writing essays a real drag.

 

Quinn: In Word-click on Tools then Options than the spell checking tab. See if "Check spelling as you type" is checked.

before i download this program.... i want to let you know that the problem is that when i go to tools, options as you said, the tab for spelling & grammer is fuzzed out and u cannot click on it.
