    Hi.
    Any advice would be appreciated:
    - system running slowly
    - system freezes up sometimes
    - getting error messages that say high disk (or CPU) usage by windows services or service processor?
    - another error message with something like: malicious windows tool? (another family member saw this)

Ran through all the instructions and attached files.
    Thanks for taking a long.

Fix what Hitman found. Otherwise I am not seeing any malware. I suggest you post in the software forum for additional assistance.

After fixing what Hitman found, reboot and rescan with Hitman and attach the new log.

    Tim,
I re-ran Hitman and selected Delete in dropdown menu next to each item in the summary list. I was expecting the line item to disappear. However, everything stayed in the list. How do I delete them? I rebooted ran Hitman again and attached log.

Also, after originally running RogueKiller I received a popup screen called "VirusTotal Upload about to start" . "website that analyzes files and URLs with many antiviruses" in case this is relevant. It referenced c:\users\user\appdata\local\temp\bootstrap.dmp. I selected "no" within the screen.

    Thanks again for the help.

Try opening Hitman again and remove all the potentially unwanted programs. After removal, reboot and rescan and attach a new log.

You have to enable the free 30 day trial license first.

Good. I am not seeing any other malware on your system. What issues are you still having?

I haven't seen any errors recently; so that is good.
    It still seems very slow.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:

    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
