I had an excellent spell checker for outlook express 6 (that I got from Major Geeks) before my computer crashed. Now I can't find it again to download it. Any help?

My version of OE6 has a spell checker that came with product. When you create a message there is a tool bar option to check spelling and an option under the Tools menu. Is there something wrong with this spell checker.

Were you thinking of something like IESpell, perhaps?

Thanks Nick. Tinyspell is a little weird, though. It determines "bettter" is spelled wrong but than questions "er" after you fix better.

What was wrong or the limitations of the default OE6 spell checker? In other words what do the other spell checkers have over this in OE6?

Hi Nick. OE6 on window XP does not have a spell checker. I had a very good one I downloaded but my computer crashes and I lost it. I'm still looking to replace it.

hi all the best spell checker you can get is ieSpell - Spell Checker add-on for Internet Explorer
... The program installs as a new button in the IE toolbar (as well as a new menu ... hit
the ieSpell button and it pops up a dialog, similar to the MS Word spell check ...

LINK REMOVED. This program was mentioned many posts above with a PROPER link to where it can be downloaded from us. Please read before you reply.

MS Works, probably why a spell checker is available in OE6 for me.
