adding hp laserjet P1102 as network printer

    Hi.



    I did all my best to add hp laserjet P1102 as network printer but failed.



    Please help.

    i think you'll need to supply a little more information to get any help :)

    What are your symptoms? can you see the printer? can you just not print?

    How is it connected?

    Did you follow the instructions if so did you fail to complete any stages or get any error messages? Where in the instructions do things not go as they say it should?

    Does the printer have an IP? can you print a config sheet?

    Printer is working fine locally and set to share and connected via usb.
    I followe steps to add network printer on other pc but system can not find it.

    When I checked printer properities I did not find any, so I am not sure.
    It is working fine locally.

    I've seen this happen at times and it's primarily because the other system is unable to access the first system (where the printer is installed), due to missing login information or incorrect network info.

    Is this network you have going, through a Home group/ Workgroup you've created?

    You need make sure you're able to access the first computer by entering the Windows Login details and being able to view the Shared content of the computer, before you can start using the printer.
