Running Win7 Pro SP1, and a couple weeks ago had to do a complete reinstall on a new HD. Just about every day I get a "Device Disconnect" Notification (Sound) at some point. Makes no difference what I am doing, running an App, playing a game, or watching something on NetFlix. The only external devices I have connected are the normal KB, Mouse, Monitor and Ethernet. Any ideas on how I might find what is triggering this? I have run Malware/AV checks, and no luck, but any recommendations/ideas would be welcome... Many thanks..... !

If your Keyboard & Mouse are connected via USB, it's one of them. You'll know if it's the mouse simple because you wont be able to use it. Can you use the keyboard when the Device Disconnect Notification (sound) happens?
