Cannot play avi from cd in Windows Media Player 10

    Hello,

    I cannot play a 100mb avi file from a cd in Windows Media Player 10. If I copy and paste it to the desktop or server, it works fine. If I try to run it from the cd (I have tried 3 different pc's here), it goes very slow, stops and starts on its own.

    All pc's are Win XP SP2. Cd rom's vary in speed.
