i just figureded i'd put avast on it what else should i throw on there?

I just so happen to have the link on my clipboard, so try MajorGeeks' Freeware Picks. I'd pick the number listed under each grouping for at least virus protection, malware protection, and firewall. If you get to remove all the nasties they pick up from surfing the web, might as well put a few removal programs on from the list as well.

 

i am very farmilear with that list i was just asking if anyone would reccomend specific programs.

OK,I use Avast for antivirus,Comodo Firewall Pro (the best firewall till now),Spybot S&DFor Spyware(but without Tea timer cos it's stupid realtime protection),and BOClean(also from Comodo as my realtime protection).
