Fuzzy Letters

    Bought a new computer with windows 8 and a nvidia GTX 650 video card with DVI hook up to my LCD monitor. When I change the desktop resolution from
    1024 * 768 which is the native resolution the words on the icons on the desktop and when i surf the web the words are fuzzy. I have used this monitor before with windows 7 and a on board video card with no problems in many different resolutions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    1024 x 768 is native to the monitor?
    What resolutions are you trying?
    Are you using the Windows or nVidia control panel to change resolutions?

    using nvidia control panel that's what my monitor is plugged into. Trying higher resolutions which I have used with this monitor in the past. 1920 * 1200
