I have a portable FW drive with 2 6-pin FW ports. I'd like to connect a 6-pin cable to my Mac for power, and connect a 4-pin to my PC laptop so I can copy files to the drive. I know the 2 ports are intended for daisy chaining, but I wondered if I could get away with this. (I don't have an AC adapter for the drive.)
