Problem opening Internet Explorer

    I installed Firefox a while ago and set it is my default browser during set up. I uninstalled it a few days ago and now if I click a link in anything other than IE it wont open the page it's supposed to. EG links sent emails etc.

    Anyone got any ideas on whats happened and how I can work this out?

    I am on XP home SP2 with all critical updates.

    BTW I can open IE directly no problem at all.

    Not sure if this will work but....
    In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, and on the Programs tab, check the "Internet Explorer should check to see if it is the default browser" checkbox.
